Our team

A multinational team of professionals

Our team is as international as our audience. Most team members have lived in various countries and have first-hand experience of what it means to be an expat.

Just Landed was founded by Simon Lynch and Daniel Tschentscher. After experiencing the difficulties that go along with the move to a new country, they decided the time was ready for a new website that would help people to get settled abroad.

Today, more than 10 nationalities in the office represent the international spirit of Just Landed. Conversations are carried out in English, German, French, Spanish and quite a few exotic languages, creating a truly multicultural work environment. This is what happens when we take a time-out in the mountains (did you know Spain is the second most mountainous country in Europe?).

The founders

Simon Lynch (UK): Bumped into the Internet sometime in 1996, started working on various projects to make some sense of it. Simon has founded and advised several early-stage ventures. He co-founded Jobpartners in 1998 and was a main board director until 2003. The company raised over €35 million of venture capital and was a market-leader in Europe (delivering enterprise software solutions for Human Resources to large organisations such as Xerox, Carrefour, Nike, Deutsche Post and France Telecom). Jobpartners was acquired by Taleo in 2010 for $38m and Taleo was then swallowed by Oracle in for $1.9b in 2012.

Turning Just Landed into a really useful place for people moving country has now been an 8 year obsession - still not there, but getting closer. He is British and has lived in France and Spain. Find out more at simonlynch.com
